The Dead Of Winter 48 Hour Film Challenge is an annual event created to thaw the creative brain in February by collaborating with others to make a short film. The challenges are many and the obstacles may be cold and high but the rewards and thaw are indescribable.
Beginning with the launch event on Feb 21 participants meet and greet their fellow filmmakers.
There is a Q&A, team assignments and your inspiration packages are given out.
You then have 48 Hours to make your masterpiece.
In production teams as small as one and as large as four as well as any number of performers, you can film whatever you want, however you want, as long as nobody gets hurt! Just keep it 14A and under.
Max film length accepted will be 10mins.
